THE TIME FOR SILENCE

"Words are so powerful" have been said to our hearing several times but, even with all the unfavourable consequences that accompany a mistakenly negative pronouncement, yet, many are still trapped in the web of the tongue.

What is the value of your talk?

If you talk and people laugh, definitely, you are fit to be a comedian.

But you, your words are likened to bullets, killing everyone it comes across or putting them in pains.

We should learn the art and act of silence, yes....not everything we are expected to reply to.

Well, I'm not against intellectual conversation and you may say, you want to disagree to agree, however, we must learn to speak right and right words only.

I wouldn't want an individual to commit suicide because of my words that his/her living is irrelevant, I'm sure you don't want to.

So, let's check our individual dictionaries and take away words that will not do good to others. And if you think, you are so annoyed and hurt, rather than saying something wrong at that moment, learn silence then you can come back to the matter afterall, when you are calm.

According to Charles Caleb Colton, "when you have nothing to say, say nothing."

So, let's check the weight of our words and what impacts it will make on the hearer.

Finally, you can learn from the word of God, The book of Proverbs 15:1 -- “A soft word turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger.”

Proverbs 21:23

Whoso keepeth his mouth and his tongue keepeth his soul from troubles.

Have a beautiful week ahead.
